COUNCILOR Tania Fernandes Anderson's PORTFOLIO

Councilor TFA's District 7 Action Plan

District 7's Priorities

A comprehensive action plan to address District 7's needs. Our commitment resonates across various facets crucial to community well-being. In the housing realm, our strategy aims not merely at provision but at fostering sustainable and inclusive housing ecosystems. Economic development is envisioned through strategic initiatives that bolster local businesses and promote equitable prosperity. Environmental justice underscores our dedication to creating a green and sustainable urban landscape. Public safety initiatives are geared towards fostering a secure environment, while public health interventions prioritize community well-being. Education stands as a cornerstone, with tailored programs to enrich and empower the youth. Civic engagement is promoted to ensure that every voice resonates in shaping the community's trajectory. In our pursuit of dismantling systemic racism, we are resolute in addressing social determinants of health and staunchly combating displacement, fostering an environment where diversity is celebrated and inclusivity prevails. Through this multifaceted approach, District 7 aspires to meet and exceed the expectations of a thriving and equitable community.
